I pulled out a disc that I have not listened to in probably five years or so. It is called "Blue Skies" by contemporary christian artist Bryan Duncan. I have been a huge fan of music for many years and I had just forgotten about this disc. So I popped it in the CD player in the car and I am off to work. As I am listening I am thinking "I did'nt realize that Vinnie was on this disc, how cool is this". After my hour commute, I go in my office and put in my system in my office and sit down to check the credits. I discover to my suprise that this is not Vinnie at all!! Low and behold it is a guy named Scott Williamson. Man this cat is so musical with just wonderful feel and tasty chops that fill the bill on the same plain as Vinnie. So, if you don't have this disc, getit!! Check this guy out. His hi-hat work and his cymbal accents and his snare sound is so much like Vinnie it is scarey. I don't mean that he is a "copy-cat". He is just a wonderfully musical drummer. Has anyone ever heard of him before?<marquee>"Keep It In The Pocket". PT</marquee>

Yes [& you are right, Serg], it IS in fact TLC on Sketchbook track 3, "'Trane" - the only track she plays drums on [& does a fine job, IMA].

Ersk is on #7 & Acuna on 4 & 10 [drumset].

Vinnie is on the other 5.

Paulinho DaCosta does some perc on one of the VC tracks AW [9].

Awesome disc. But then again, what'd you expect from da Tooch & those othere fab musos.

Be careful, tho...Marienthal's Crossroads lists TLC on the 1st track "Sun Was in My Eyes" - but in fact, it's actually Weckl on the track. Holey Miscues, Scatman. [Durn part-time CD labelers!] DOH

Yes, I do know Scott Williamson, he is a friend of mine, and I'm hopping he will produce my bands next album. He lives in Nashville, and he is a well respected studio drummer as well as produce who has worked with Michael W. Smith, FFH, Point of Grance, and many many more Christian artists. He is amazing!

Cool

Hey S.P.

You better check out those credits again...
Maybe your cd has a virus that keeps changing the credits...
